Junior National Invitational Announced

BasketBull has announced that it will host a Junior National Invitational tournament in Springfield, Massachusetts from July 6th-8th, 2010.
The nationals-type of tournament will be for age groups 10u-14u and will attempt to attract teams from across the United States. Game-play will be based out of the Mass Mutual Center, where we will have four courts situated in their expo hall.
The tournament is taking the place of the former Junior Nationals event which was held the last two years at the end of June. That tournament had attracted programs from Virginia, Texas, Nova Scotia, and many other places.
"We feel switching the dates and hosting it at the Mass Mutual Center will make the tournament more attractive," said BasketBull director, Colin Tabb.
Championship games will be played at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame's center court.
Teams will have to qualify in order to receive an invite to the event.
