Hall of Fame Girls Tip Off Classic

The 5th annual Hall of Fame Girl's Tip-Off Classic is the perfect way to kick off your travel season. This event is for ages 11u-16/17u and all championship games will be held at the Hall of Fame. Note: The winners of ages 11U-15U will be invited to participate in our New England Best of the Best tournament May 30-31.

Sites

The tournament site will be the Holyoke Community College and American International College

Holyoke Community College has an outstanding three-court facility, while American International College boasts four courts.

Format

Championship format - every team will be guaranteed a minimum of 3 games. Teams will be placed in 3 or 4 team pools, depending on tournament size, with teams getting a minimum of 2 pool play games.  We will make every attempt to have teams participate in a single-elimination Gold, Silver, Bronze bracket format following pool play. 

Teams participating in the championship game will compete at center court in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Tournament Cost

$425 per team, which includes:

  • Team registration for tournament of 3 games with the potential of up to 6.
  • Championship games at Basketball Hall of Fame
  • Tee-shirts and awards for winning teams
  • Exposure to college coaches and media outlets

Special: Register before January 1st for $25/team discount. Discount must be mentioned when registering.

College Coaches and Media Outlets

Division II and III college coaches will be invited to the tournament.  Last year over 25 college coaches attended the Tip-Off Classic.  Media outlets and recruiting services including the New England Hoop News will also be invited and present.
