TOURNAMENT INFO

  • July 11-12th, 2010 (Sunday, Monday)
  • Age groups 15u-17u
  • LIVE tournament, which will be NCAA Sanctioned for Division I, II, and III college coaches. Top teams from around the country will be invited.  New England Recruiting Service, NE Hoop News, Rivals.com and Scout.com will be invited.

SITES

Mass Mutual Center 1-court

  • Mass Mutual Center (4 Air-Conditioned courts) - 17u games
  • Basketball Hall of Fame and Dunbar Community Center (Air-Conditioned) - 17u Games
  • American International College and above sites - 16u games
  • Holyoke Community College (3 courts/ NOT A/C) - 15u games
  • Other possible sites - Chicopee HS, Chicopee Comp HS, and St. Stan's School (all A/C courts in Chicopee)

FORMAT

  • 17u - 1st 48 teams will be accepted into tournament
  • 16u - 1st 36 teams will be accepted
  • 15u - 1st 24 teams will be accepted

All teams will be guaranteed to continue playing (in a single-elimination bracket) after pool play is complete.

NCAA INFORMATION - Must be completed July 1st

Before participating in an NCAA-certified event, all participating coaches will have to complete and be approved through the NCAA Participant Approval for Operators and Coaches administered by LexisNexis and each team will have to be registered in the NCAA Basketball Certification System (BBCS).

To begin your approval and team registration process, you must first apply for an approval number, which will be given to you by the NCAA after a background check.  You must allow a minumum of 7 business days for this process to be completed. To begin the process approval and team registration process:

2nd Step - Submit Team Roster and Registration to NCAA

3rd Step - Submit team roster to BasketBull

4th Step - Pay for tournament

COACHES - Because of multiple events during this same time period, hotel accomodations were very difficult to secure.  Please make reservations ASAP to secure your team's rooms.
