Girls National Invitational

The Hall of Fame National Invitational will be held at Springfield College in their fieldhouse, Dana Gymnasium and Blake Gymnasium, totaling 8 courts.  The tournament will be an NCAA sanctioned event with many top-level teams attending.

Tournament Information

  • July 27-29th, 2012
  • Age groups 13u-16u
  • LIVE tournament, which will be NCAA Sanctioned for Division I, II, and III college coaches.
  • Top teams from around the country will be invited.  New England Recruiting Service, NE Hoop News, Rivals.com and Scout.com will be invited.

  • Schedule will be out at least 3 days prior to the tournament, and usually by Tuesday of the tournament weekend.

Four +  game guarantee

All teams will be guaranteed to continue playing (in a single-elimination bracket) after pool play is complete.

All BasketBull tournaments use only IABBO Certified Officials

Tournament Cost and Registration

  • $500, teams must pay in advance, NO EXCEPTIONS
  • ALL teams must submit roster to naismithtourney@basketbull.org
  • Teams are encouraged to pay online via "REGISTRATION" button in upper-right corner

College Coaches, Scouting and Media

This will be an NCAA sanctioned event, open to Division I, II and III colleges. 

2011 saw Boston College, Providence College, UMass, Rutgers, University of Rhode Island, George Mason, and many other Division I, II and III schools attend. 

NCAA Sanctioned Event

Before participating in an NCAA-certified event, all participating coaches will have to complete and be approved through the NCAA Participant Approval for Operators and Coaches administered by LexisNexis and each team will have to be registered in the NCAA Basketball Certification System (BBCS).

In addition, all teams must also be registered and submitted online prior to participating in the event.

To begin your approval and team registration process, you must first apply for an approval number, which will be given to you by the NCAA after a background check.  You must allow a minumum of 7 business days for this process to be completed. To begin the process approval and team registration process:

  • 1st Step - Approval Application
  • 2nd Step - Submit Team Roster and Registration to NCAA
  • 3rd Step - Submit team roster to BasketBull
  • 4th Step - Pay for tournament
