Boys Tournament

The BasketBull Summer Finale will apply for sanctioning with the NCAA in 2018 to be a LIVE event and provide teams from across the country and chance to play in the birthplace of basketball, in a state-of-the-art facility (the Mass Mutual Center), against top notch competition and maximum exposure.  2017 was a first year event and hosted over 60 teams and 50 college coaches.

Tournament Information

  • Session II: July 27-29th, 2018
  • Age groups 10u-17u/Open
  • Approved for NCAA Division I, II and III coaches in 2017, applied for sanctioning in 2018.
  • Top teams from around the country will be invited.  ESPN, New England Recruiting Service, NE Hoop News, Rivals.com, Fox Sports and Scout.com have attended the last few years.

All teams will be guaranteed to continue playing (in a single-elimination bracket) after pool play is complete.

Exact tournament format will be decided when registration is completed.

  •  ALL teams must submit roster through NCAA website for this tournament.

Please note the NEW NCAA Requirements for this tournament: (MANDATORY)

All of the steps below must be completed in order to participate. Teams without approved coaches and rosters on the NCAA BBCS will not be allowed to participate in the NCAA-certified portion of this event.

Step 1: Coaches of 9th - 12th Grade boys and girls teams must obtain a USA Basketball Gold Coach License with NCAA Status. This requirement applies to coaches, assistant coaches, and any bench personnel (non-players). Additionally, this process has to be completed each year and you must allow 3 weeks for processing. You will not be able to enter your rosters on the new BBCS website (step 2) until you complete this process.

Step 2: All 9th - 12th Grade Boys and Girls teams (coaches and athletes) must register personal accounts on the new NCAA BBCS website .

Build Team Roster

The Head coach Instructions for registration can be found here.  The coach (administrator) must then invite players and assistant coaches to be on their roster through the NCAA BBCS website
